Implementation Step 3. ISO Awareness Training
Once you have a implementation team assigned to the project, it is time to start an ISO awareness training. There is a portion of a sample presentation on this site. You should add corporate goals, timeline and assignments to the presentation. The ISO training should be focused on the core team first. This training can be done by the management representative or by an outside expert. Using an outside expert help give the project more clout and may help motivate the team.
Once the core team is oriented to the goals of the project, it should brainstorm about how to get the most out of the project. Team feedback is a great way to buy-in from this critical group.
I recommend using the feedback from the group to adjust the presentation. Everyone in the company should receive the presentation and the training should be recorded in everyone personnel training record. You may also give this presentation again before the external audit and add some information about how to be audited. This will reduce the level of stress during the audit.
